Managing your School Planning

GET THE MOST OUT OF THIS SCHOOL YEAR

Autumn has always been my favorite time of year. I know I know Summer has ended and we are facing into the Winter, (and Winter is coming?) but I always find that the beginning of a new school year is a time for change, and a fresh start. With this in mind the following are some tips to help you get the most out of this new school year.

Autumn has always been my favorite time of year. I know I know Summer has ended and we are facing into the Winter, (and Winter is coming?) but I always find that the beginning of a new school year is a time for change, and a fresh start. With this in mind the following are some tips to help you get the most out of this new school year.

Look at where you are storing all of your learning resources. If you have material in multiple places such as memory sticks, laptops and online storage accounts, now is a good time to go through it and store all relevant material in the one place.

This can be shared with colleagues across your department so that students are benefiting from the best resources available in your school and receiving consistent learning.
Work with your colleagues to introduce standardised assessments for each year group, and even better link these assessments to your shared lesson plans. This means that there will be no scrambling around looking for material through the year, it will all be at your fingertips.

Upgrade your mark book to an electronic version that will automatically generate the necessary reports which you can easily share with management.

At SchoolWise we believe that having one platform that allows you to do the above as well as plugging into all of the tools you already use such as office 365 is the best way to reduce teacher’s workload and save you time.
